A New Orleans Photographer
My mission is to capture the vitality of human experience and to present it on paper in a visually compelling manner. As I photographer I work with daily life, ritual and celebration within which I look for moments of insight or higher meaning. I seek to create iconic images that are immediately recognizable as illustrating an idea, a place, or event.
Photography has been my passion for more than 30 years now, starting with my days in New York in the seventies working as a magazine photographer, and moving through my relocation to New Orleans a year before Katrina. The main gallery on this page features the work that I am currently offering to the public, at the Frenchmen Street Art Market in New Orleans, and local venues such as the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. Prints are available in a variety of sizes and on both portfolio and gallery editions. The work I show on Frenchmen Street is is standard portfolio print, on high quality archival paper in a luster finish. Jazz Fest and gallery work is printed on a premium paper with an eggshell finish, usually Museo Silver, which the the finest paper I have found so far, inside or outside the darkroom. All prints are archival. In addition I do offer over-sized 20×30 and larger prints, both framed and unframed. All prints are signed and numbered by size and image. Use the contact page if you have any questions about the work. I ship by FedEx ground to the US and Canada. Overseas shipping is billed at cost.
THe public has been extremely supportive of my work, and I would like to thank all of those who have purchased my images and carried them all over the world!
