About the Workshops
I am resuming the workshops because I want to teach– I want to pass back the knowledge that has allowed me a high level of success for decades. Nothing great happens in a vacuum. Photographers mentored me when I was first starting in New York, and thrown into the fire very quickly. On my first assignment, I was standing next to Neil Leifer working for his competition. Success breeds confidence. The workshops are photography boot camp featuring daily editing and mentoring sessions with ample time to photograph. I hold photographers to a high standard and will push you to take your work to a higher level. At our closing slideshow and projection your work will be featured for the group and the general public. You will need basic skills with your digital camera, and should know how to prepare your work for edit. Adobe Lightroom is my preferred method of toning and editing your work. You will need a laptop as well, and as many cards as you need.
